Default engine stall

problem has just started occurring where engine is cutting out when i start slowing down when leaving a motorway or A roads at the junctions once i have traveled a reasonable distance i have an auto dt5 2.4 it then takes 2-3 minutes before it will restart any encountered this before

Depending on mileage and last tune up it could be a clogged fuel filter or the fuel pump is starting to go out.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
