key fob
Hi, I was about to try your battery replacement method. I just had a question regarding if after the battery is replaced, will there be any need to have the key reprogrammed by the dealer?
Thanks |
Hi...trying to replace my battery as well. I was curious about the soldering...not sure what part of the battery needs to be soldered. thanks!

Land Rover Key FOB
After Battery change, Key doesn't needs any reprogramming. You have to resolder the new battery using its 2 connecting points but first you have to open the Key FOB to reveal its circuit. Its casing is tightly glued so it may be required to break the casing. See Youtube Video:
