I just joined the club with a 1997 Disco 1. The major issues I’m having right now are the engine revving high in idle and park (can get up over 2000 rpm), and the ac fan only working on speed 2.

For the idle, I’ve checked for vacuum leak and replaced the idle air control valve.

For the ac fan, I’ve replaced the blower fan resistor under the glove box.

Anyone have something similar or any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. First and formost, I recommend going to the new forum site listed in my signature.

Second. High Revving, I would pull the intake air tube and clean the throttle body as well as clean he MAF sensor, if you have a K&N style filter I would recommend throwing it away and buying a paper filter. The MAF's do not like oil.

Fan stuck on a specific setting, sounds like a bad control module or dirty switch. (i.e. the part in the dash you adjust)
