Rover DOWN!!

Hello forum,

I'm in dire need of assistance. Unfortunately I left my moonroof open overnight :mad: and there was a torrential downpour. When I returned to my truck it looked like hurricane Katrina hit :eek: I dried the interior and was able to drive to work. At the end of my work day I attempted to drive home but the truck gave a transmission fault and would not move from park. Tried to manually "reset" truck and release gear but was unsuccessful. Needless to say my poor truck is crippled and I'm unable to get her to the dealership until next Friday (booked.no appts). Is there anyone out there with any useful information or help for me?!

The issues are related to water damage on the switches near the gear shift. You will need to disassemble the gear shift covers, and dry everything out. You will need to replace the switches that are water damaged.

Start with Transfer case range switch.
